The last leg

Just as planned we chilled out on the beach in Barcelona for most of the day on Tuesday. We went for a wander along the beach front early evening and stumbled upon a Russian (we think) band busking on the beach front, who used a Saxophone instead of a vocalist which was a little different and quite entertaining:

After retiring to the boat for a wee siesta we went out in search of some dinner, selecting "Tapas Locas" Or Crazy Tapas to try some more Spanish cooking! A long selection process ensued and nice varied selection of Curried Potatoes, Calamari Battered and Fried, Chicken croquetes and Chorizo in Champagne Sauce was chosen. It was (mostly) delicious, and everything but the calamari was polished off, and even the calamari was half finished.

Wednesday saw us up early and hitting the road for our ~400 mile drive to catch our ferry from Bilbao to Portsmouth, leaving at 17:15.

We are 20 hours in and have so far fended off the cabin fever with games of Monopoly, a movie and a much needed sleep. 8 more hours to go and we will be due to dock into Portsmouth at 20:45!

Edit: The wifi onboard wasn't up to posting so you are getting this a few hours later. I'm glad to say we have made it to shore without any casualties!
