Sunday saw us continue our journey along the French Riviera, enjoying a wee stop off to dip our toes into the Mediteranian on the beaches of Antibes. Luck would have it we parked next to one of Ninas understudies, which was yet another prime photo opportunity!

Arriving in Montpellier early evening we grabbed some food and crashed for the night. After a good nights sleep we started on our final southwards journey down through the south of France and into Spain!
After a fairly uneventful days driving yesterday we arrived into Barcelona to yet more glorious sunshine. Looking for parking we met a friendly chap with a lovely looking RX8 who stopped to admire Dumbledore (if you've made it onto the blog, hola, su auto era hermoso!)

We had a few hours to kill before we could collect the keys to our accommodation so we went to get some food. Not being a huge fan of seafood but wanting to try some local food I ordered a chicken paella, and Shaunagh ordered one with Calamari (or so we thought!) This concoction is what arrived!

Prawn, Mussels and Clams, in a cuttelfish ink! However, it was tasty so we enjoyed our meal all the same, with a couple of sangrias on the side :)
Next it was off to meet our Airbnb host Martin who showed us to our 30' boat which we are staying on for our 2 nights in Barcelona. We caught up with team Nina and enjoyed a few drinks on the back deck and watched the sunset!
Today we are just planning to chill on the long beaches and enjoy a bit of down time after all the driving we have been doing (and still have to do), before heading off up to Bilbao tomorrow.
