Aw, Strewth!

Day 1, 19:00 - Day 1 of the itinerary schedule is out the window, but Scott has now arrived, the car is packed and we (JP, SC, SJ) are on the road.

With the exception of a short lived passport panic at Gretna services the drive down to Manchester went without too much ado. We made it the hotel around 23:00/23:30, just missing the free "tapas-inspired small bites" on offer. We did however get a cheeky wee Platinum Upgrade to a superior room! We met up with our Drunken Sailor (AB) who arrived early, had a quick night cap and got to sleeping.

This morning was an early start, with just enough time to test out the in-room coffee machines before heading to the airport.

It's boarding time now, Bon voyage Britain, Croatia here we come!
